3. Installation

Before installation can take place Orica technical specialists will send your IT staff a Pre-installation Technical Pack. This pack will outline all our technical pre-requisites and includes a questionnaire to ascertain your server and network configuration. The provided information is checked and any known issues raised before installation takes place.

Installation involves physically installing the Timemaster database and application(s) on your server:

  • Microsoft SQL Server or SQL 2008 Express (for Timemaster applications)
  • Microsoft Internet information Server (for Timemaster Web)

Icons can be set-up on the required desktops. Our staff will work with your in-house IT staff to facilitate a rapid roll-out across multi-site clients.

Our installation wizards are so well developed we are now happy for your own IT staff to carry out the installation with just telephone assistance from our support team. If you prefer, we can carry out the installation on site as part of the first day's training. It normally only takes an hour or two.

Once the installation is complete, the customer will be provided with an installation report to sign-off.
